Dear visitor, you are in the guesthouse rooms.
It was in these rooms that visitors to the Castle were hosted.
The room located next to the North-West Tower deserves more attention because it is characterized by the sails and plumes ending in Gothic-Catalan Billiemi stone. Inside you can see a splendid fireplace.
These were the rooms where Lodovico Vernagallo, nephew through the paternal line of a rich merchant, his namesake, who had married the maternal aunt of Baron Vincenzo La Grua, Laura's husband, was probably also hosted.
This ancient acquaintance, as well as distant kinship, allowed Lodovico to frequent the castle of Carini, initially without arousing suspicion.
It is said that the meetings between Laura Lanza di Trabìa and Lodovico Vernagallo took place between these rooms.
It was from one of these windows that Laura, warned of the arrival of her Father, Don Cesare Lanza di Trabìa, spent the last moments of her life.
But let's continue the visit,
via a narrow staircase located in the west wing, you access the castle tower.
